Aquiares is both a coffee farm and coffee community nd have been
around since 1890, but in the past three decades they have experienced a socio-economical revolution, with the creation of a unique partnership: the Community (made up of 2,000 people, only 15% employed by
the farm) and Cafetalera Aquiares (grower-miller-exporter), the company. They are currently experimenting with a 25 Varietal Garden, and offering micro-lots from Honey, Natural & Anaerobic processes.

This Fully Washed Estate SHB is a premium selection for a bright, lively coffee. Feel They are a family business seeking to establish partnerships, not mere
business deals. With a long-term vision to establish relationships with coffee partners. 

The first plant of F1 CA was planted back in 2011, with no real understanding of what they were getting
themselves into. It turned out this hybrid derived from the cross of Rume Sudan & Sarchimor T5296 and loved the fertile soils of Aquiares, and produce one of the best profiles of their unique volcanic, Caribbean and shaded terroir.
Vigorous plants produce burgundy red cherries bearing a dense, and large bean. The lots are picked
every 15 days and only bring in 5-10 bags per day. A team of select pickers, or "microloteros" have in
these years perfected the skill of selection for optimal ripeness.
