1. What is Django Coffee Co?
Django Coffee Co is a Manchester-based speciality coffee roastery, sourcing ethically and directly from farms around the world. We roast small batches of 100% Arabica coffee to highlight the unique flavours of each origin.
2. Where does Django Coffee source its coffee from?
We work directly with farmers in East Africa, Central and South America and occasionally Asia. Our coffees are traceable, single-origin, and often varietals grown at high altitudes for exceptional flavour.
3. What makes Django Coffee special?
Every coffee is roasted in small batches to preserve its natural flavors. We focus on quality, sustainability, and transparency, highlighting the unique tasting notes of each origin.
4. What roast profiles do you offer?
Light, medium, and sometimes on the darker side of medium roasts, depending on the origin and flavour goals. Our “omni roast” style ensures suitability for both filter and espresso brewing.
5. How should I brew Django Coffee?
Our coffees work in multiple brewing methods: espresso, pour-over, French press, AeroPress, and filter. Freshly ground beans give the best results.
6. Do you offer subscriptions?
Yes! Choose bag size and roast frequency, with fresh coffee delivered directly to your door. Subscription coffees rotate based on the latest arrivals, ensuring you won’t receive the same coffee twice.
7. Can I buy Django Coffee wholesale?
Yes. We supply cafés, restaurants, and retailers. Pricing and minimum orders depend on origin and bag size.
8. Roast days
We generally roast coffees on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, although this can vary. Coffee is dispatched on Tuesday and Thursday each week.
9. Posting days & order tracking

Orders are usually sent via Royal Mail 24 or 48 tracked service.
10. Subscription shipping
Subscriptions are shipped weekly, fortnightly or monthly depending on order date and frequency.
11. Picking up coffee from the roastery
Available Monday–Thursday, 8am–3pm. You must choose pick up option when placing your order. An appointment is needed to visit the roastery.
12. Brewing & barista classes
Once our training space is ready, classes will be available online. Check our brew guides in the meantime.
13. Coffee storage
Coffee’s main enemies are heat, light, and oxygen. Keep beans in a cool, dark place in resealable packaging. Freezing is optional: vacuum-seal and allow beans to reach room temperature before opening.
14. Brewing after roasting

15. Packaging & recycling
Our pouches are single-layer plastic (rated 4) and recyclable in household collections.
