At Django Coffee Co. we are heavily focused on the origin of our coffee and direct trade. We work with origin partners to ensure we purchase the very best speciality coffee from around the world whilst ensuring it is ethically sourced and 100% traceable and transparent.
Roasting and selling amazing coffee is very important to us but so is sustainability. We want to minimise the effects of our footprint on the environment and make sure that each stage of the coffee chain, from harvest to process, is carried out with a knowledge and understanding that does justice to everyone involved. We believe that sustainability is very important to produce quality coffee, livelihood longevity and a healthy environment.
Our packaging is omnigradable and compostable which means there is no lasting impact on the environment and they break down – pollution free!
Our roasting style is light and never beyond a medium profile. We specialise in single-origin coffee that benefit from lighter roast profiles to bring out the unique characteristics of each origin. Our Giesen W6A, Amelie, is used for all our production roasts.
According to a study published in the Science journal, planting trees is the best and most effective way of fighting climate change. The environment is very important to us and so to offset the carbon we produce as a business, we have partnered with One Tree Planted to help their fight against world deforestation.
We have decided to plant our trees in South America and in particular the Amazon Rainforest. Planting trees here not only offers a chance to help all the millions of species that rely on the Amazon but also employs local tree planters and help fight against poverty in a handful of Latin American countries.

Django: "I Awake"
Our website provides information on the origins of all the coffees we currently have available as well as a brewing guide and a blog where we talk about all things coffee related and try to discover what is the best coffee in the world. As a coffee company and as coffee roasters we want to share our passion for single-origin and ethically sourced artisan coffee.
Hard to describe flavour notes but it is up to the usual Django standard. Try it.

A very convenient service!!
This is nothing less than the coffee I have come to expect from Django, right up my street. Fruity and funky. To me I get hints of plum and prune. If you like their Ibanda (best coffee in the universe) you have to try this.
The coffee was amazing, definitely a coffee roasters to keep a eye on . 10/10
This is an excellent coffee with lots of flavour, believe the hype. The delivery service by Django was very good and quick
This Honduran San Rafael coffee is quite spectacular, every cup seems even better than the previous one, with a myriad of different flavours emerging.
I make my coffee in a basic pour-over filter using a gooseneck kettle.
I’m a fairly enthusiastic home barista and like trying different beans from different roasters. Bought this after it was hyped up by a few ‘influencers’ on social media, half expecting it to be just hype for commission I have to say it’s incredibly interesting and I’m loving it.
I’ve had plenty of sweeter fruitier flavoured beans but these actually smell fruity as a roasted bean. I drink mostly flat white/cortado type coffee and this stuff is the strawberry milkshake of the flat white world.
Decent price and free delivery as well... get a bag!
Rwanda coffees are the ones to try right now! This one is has heaps of sweetness, nice acidity, pulls great as an espresso and responds even better as a filter!
And it’s a natural; never had a bad natural from Django!
The coffee arrived and brews an excellent cup!
